How do I print the patterns?
Each pattern has its own instructions, but if you have any issues printing or assembling them we can help out - we have tried all these patterns ourselves and know they fit together correctly, and we know all the right settings to print at accurate scale. We actually have a blog post that covers all the essential printer settings and solutions to the errors that come up on occasion.
What if I don't have a printer?
As these patterns don't use very many pages, you could have them printed quite inexpensively at a print shop, or even for free at the library! The slightly larger patterns also come with an A0 or A1 file which can be printed at a print shop on blueprint sized paper, so the pages don't need to be taped together. Most of these patterns require very little taping though - and some none at all.
How do I choose the correct size?
Each pattern has a size chart, but as we know, it's not always possible to measure the recipient when you are making a gift. If you have any questions about size, we can give you advice, as our team has tested the patterns out already on ourselves and our friends and family.
For example, we know that the slippers do fit accurately for US shoe sizes (and there are conversion charts online if you know the size in an international shoe size only), with slightly larger ankle sizes in the upper men's shoe sizes than average (to accommodate all possible ankle sizes). We recommend making the ankle a bit tighter if you are sewing for a slim man with a large shoe size.
