Team Member Profile - River

Hello fabulous humans!

My name is River and I am a queer sewist. I sew for me and my wife, Sunny and create dance costumes for LGBTQIA+ ballroom and country western dance competitions. My favorite part of sewing is the creative process. I love dreaming up new ideas! I like working with all types of fabric but especially love swim. I like to add fringe, rhinestones, sequins and googly eyes to my makes. I like to sparkle and shine! The colors that make me most happy are pink, glow in the dark and AB iridescent.

I love being apart of the sewing community, seeing everybody’s awesome makes, welcoming new sewists and learning new sewing skills.
