Hi!

I’m Marie-France. I live in the Ottawa region with my husband. I usually sew for myself, with the occasional piece for my husband and niblings. I dreamt of learning how to sew since I was a little girl, but somehow only got around to actually doing it 5-6 years ago. Now 99% of my clothes are me-made and I don’t know that I’ll ever go back to buying ready-made! As a very tall woman (6’2”) who is pear-shaped, making my own clothing allows me to wear things that are custom fit for me in a way I will NEVER find in stores.

I love trying all kinds of fabric bases and patterns and am forever looking to expand my sewing experience trying out new things.
