I'm Kristin from Alyssa K Fashion. I live in the US with my husband and four children.

I have always had a love of fashion and wanted to be a fashion designer. As a child I would cut up fabric to make clothes for my dolls. I learned how to sew in my 4th grade art class, starting with pillows and tote bags. I did a lot of hand sewing (mostly hemming and simple alterations) until I got my first sewing machine in 2017. I started sewing clothes and found my passion!I sew mostly for myself, my family and occasionally for customers. I love making everyday staples (shirts, dresses, sweaters, underwear, etc.). I am 5'3 and pear shaped, so many RTW garments do not fit perfectly without a bit of adjustment. I love that I can now wear perfectly fitting clothes and customize them exactly how I want. My favorite fabrics to sew are ITY, cotton lycra and Ankara wax fabric.
