Hi! I'm Florena from Kota Marudu, Sabah, Malaysia.
I started sewing because of my twin daughters. Here boys clothes are cheap, came all the way from China, and it never crossed my mind to sew. But after I had my girls, buying the small dresses seemed very expensive to me and now needed two for the girls. So, I started sewing and buying all the necessary things for sewing clothes. And now I don't know if buying clothes is cheaper than owning so much fabric. That's where I found pattern tester. And sewing become my routine. It's like a job for a housewife like me. I feel so good marking my notes when I finished my sewing. And it never stops as I can't resist tester calls. I'm sewing for my whole family and sometimes, my friends will ask me too. I am very comfortable with knit fabric but woven fabric is easy to sew too when there's pattern.
